Within the heart of a man is the call of the wild … to be the hunter, the warrior and the conqueror. It’s how he is wired. And it shows in how he lives life, pursues his dreams, and conducts his relationships.
An awakened man will take that masculine energy and live life at a higher level, stepping away from his self-centred, self-absorbed ego-nature, and instead, pursue love with all his being. He still is the warrior, the leader, the champion, but in his enlightened state he gives himself permission to open up and reveal the tenderness of his heart, and without shame, to express his manly emotions and feelings.
He accepts that he is whole, that love is who he is, but he knows that he is only half of what he is meant to be, until he has found his feminine counterpart. And so he allows his wild heart to hunger for his goddess, looking to the day when he can offer the rich gift of his love and adoration and pour it upon the one who calls to his soul.
